A Note From Stephanie
The Capacity Standard
Stephanie Warner, MSW · Sensory Ergonomist

Why the list exists, and what you can expect from it.

If you have landed here, there is a good chance you have been tired in a way that does not match your workload. You have blamed the usual suspects. Sleep. Age. Hormones. Stress. The answers were close enough to feel right and never quite fit.

I am building The Capacity Standard for the woman who is still performing at a high level and paying a cost nobody else can see. The research base for this work is decades old. The application to what you are wearing for ten hours a day is newer, and almost entirely mine.

47% of adults with a mental health diagnosis are sensory sensitive

That number is not a marketing line. It is a peer-reviewed finding the sensory processing field has known for years. What almost nobody is doing is translating it into action for the high-functioning professional woman who is not in crisis but is quietly depleted. That translation is my work.

The email list is how you hear about it first. New offerings, research-backed essays, and any future correspondence I decide to write. You will not be flooded. You will not be funneled. When there is something worth your attention, you will be among the first to know. That is the whole promise.

Still reading? Good. You already know this work is different. The list is the way in.
